Thanks for the report — that was real. The intro listened to the language toggle; the rest of the game did not. 0.1.6.1-demo fixes it. Default is English. Settings now cycles 10 languages (EN ES PT FR DE JA KO ZH RU IT). Story/lore is still EN+ES with English fallback for the others. Reload / hard-refresh if the old build is cached.

Doesn't actually turn anything into EN when selecting it in the menu. Everything except intro is ES
